Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a small bento box or cake pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, until everything is combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bento box and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool completely before removing it from the pan and decorating as desired.
