Description
A quick and satisfying meal combining tender chicken with a sweet and savory sauce, served over fluffy rice.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add the diced chicken. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the chicken until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the chicken is well-coated.
- Serve the sticky chicken over cooked rice, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness of the sauce with more or less honey based on your preference. Use leftover rice for convenience.
