Description
A delicious and hearty chicken casserole with creamy cheeses and a crunchy Ritz cracker topping, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 4½ cups chopped cooked chicken
- 4 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 (10.5 oz) can Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp dried onion powder
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 5 Tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set it aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and cream of chicken soup. Mix well until smooth.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter. Mix until the crackers are well coated.
- Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Notes
Serve warm with a side salad or steamed vegetables. For added flavor, sprinkle fresh herbs on top.
