Delicious sliders made with a mix of beef and sausage topped with melted Velveeta cheese, perfect for casual gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb sausage
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese
- Slider buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef and sausage, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Form the meat mixture into small patties to fit the slider buns.
- Grill or cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Velveeta cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
- Toast the slider buns if desired.
- Assemble the sliders by placing each patty on a bun and adding optional toppings as desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Make sure to mix the meats well for even flavor. Don’t overcook the patties; aim for a nice sear while keeping them juicy inside. Experiment with different kinds of cheese for unique flavors.
