Description

Delicious homemade cheesy breadsticks that are perfect for pairing with soups, salads, or as a delightful snack on their own.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
  3. Mix in the milk and melted butter until a dough forms.
  4. Stir in the mozzarella cheese until it’s evenly distributed.
  5. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut into strips.
  6. Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with marinara sauce, garlic butter, or your favorite dressing. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
