Description

Simple and flavorful Ham and Cheese Sliders that are perfect for any occasion, from parties to family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 (12-ounce) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 12 thin slices deli ham
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and arrange a rack in the middle.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl (20 to 30 seconds) or in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and kosher salt.
  4. Cut the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
  5. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  6. Layer 6 slices of Swiss cheese on the rolls, followed by folding the ham slices over the cheese.
  7. Add the remaining Swiss cheese over the ham.
  8. Place the top half of the rolls on top, brush with the butter mixture, and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  9. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Uncover and bake for an additional 7 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cut into sliders and serve warm.
