Simple and flavorful Ham and Cheese Sliders that are perfect for any occasion, from parties to family dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 (12-ounce) package Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 12 thin slices deli ham
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and arrange a rack in the middle.
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl (20 to 30 seconds) or in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and kosher salt.
- Cut the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
- Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
- Layer 6 slices of Swiss cheese on the rolls, followed by folding the ham slices over the cheese.
- Add the remaining Swiss cheese over the ham.
- Place the top half of the rolls on top, brush with the butter mixture, and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 7 to 8 minutes until golden brown.
- Cut into sliders and serve warm.
