Quick and flexible pita pizzas perfect for busy nights, delivering a warm, garlicky, cheesy vibe in just minutes.


Ingredients

  • 2 to 4 pitas, 6 to 7 inches
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 to 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella or crumbled feta, or a mix
  • 1 cup sauce: crushed tomatoes, pesto, or hummus
  • Favorite toppings: sliced olives, cherry tomatoes, red onion, baby spinach, artichoke hearts
  • Seasonings: oregano, red pepper flakes, black pepper, sea salt
  • Lemon and fresh herbs for finishing


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Stir minced garlic into a tablespoon of olive oil and brush both sides of each pita with the garlicky oil.
  2. Pre crisp the pita for 2 minutes on its own.
  3. Spread a thin layer of sauce on each pita.
  4. Add cheese of your choice.
  5. Scatter toppings evenly across the pizza.
  6. Air fry for 4 to 6 minutes at 375°F until the cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  7. Finish with a squeeze of lemon, a dusting of oregano, and freshly cracked black pepper.

Notes

Do not overload the pitas; a light hand with toppings keeps the crust crispy.
