A sweet treat combining crunchy cereal, chocolate, and peanut butter, perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Ingredients
- 4 cups crunchy cereal (Chex or similar)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup pink melting chocolates or candy melts
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the crunchy cereal and stir gently until fully coated.
- Transfer the chocolate-coated cereal to a large zip-top bag or bowl and add the powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake well until the cereal is evenly coated with sugar.
- If desired, melt the pink melting chocolates according to package instructions and drizzle over the puppy chow.
- Add sprinkles for a festive touch.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, refrigerate, but expect some loss of crunch.
