Ingredients
- 4 skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- Once cooked, serve the chicken with the creamy sauce, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the heavy cream and spices for a few hours before cooking. Adding red pepper flakes can give a kick to the sauce.
