Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In a skillet, sear the chicken in olive oil until golden (this step is optional but adds extra flavor).
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) to the Crock Pot.
- Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the sauce.
- Cook on low for 210-240 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
