Description
A delightful appetizer featuring creamy brie, sweet cranberries, and crunchy toasted almonds on crispy flatbread.
Ingredients
- 1 large flatbread (naan, lavash, or pizza crust)
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 5–6 oz brie cheese, sliced or torn into chunks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey (plus more for drizzling)
- Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the flatbread on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Brush the flatbread with olive oil, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Top the flatbread with slices or chunks of brie, spreading them out evenly. Next, sprinkle the dried cranberries and toasted almonds on top.
- Bake in the oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the edges of the flatbread are golden and crisp.
- Once baked, remove the flatbread from the oven. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle a pinch of sea salt and any herbs you’re using, if desired.
- Slice the flatbread and serve it warm.
Notes
Best served warm. Pairs well with wine or cocktails. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
