Description

Crispy air fryer Brussels sprouts tossed in a tangy balsamic glaze, the perfect colorful side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1.5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, plus more to finish
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 small garlic clove, grated or finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat the sprouts dry and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add to the basket cut side down in a single layer and cook for 7 minutes.
  4. Shake the basket and cook for another 4 to 6 minutes until edges are golden and centers are tender.
  5. In a bowl, whisk balsamic, honey, and garlic, then toss the hot sprouts in the sauce.
  6. Finish with lemon zest and an extra drizzle of balsamic if desired. Adjust salt to taste.

Notes

For best results, dry Brussels sprouts thoroughly and do not overcrowd the basket. Shake once during cooking for even crispiness. Toss with balsamic after cooking for the best glaze.
