Description

A delightful dish combining rich flavors with wholesome ingredients, including creamy sauce, tender chicken, and vibrant broccoli.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into strips)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Extra Parmesan, for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook the fettuccine until al dente. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add broccoli. Drain the pasta and broccoli and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken strips until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Add the grated Parmesan and optional Italian seasoning, stirring constantly until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  5. Return the cooked pasta, broccoli, and chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything together to coat evenly with the sauce. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan before serving warm.
