Description

Soft, chewy chocolate cookies with a beautiful powdered sugar coating, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for coating


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar and oil.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla to the sugar mixture, then stir until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  5. Refrigerate the dough for about 240 minutes or overnight.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Roll the dough into balls and coat each ball in powdered sugar.
  8. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage.
