Description
A delightful twist on a classic grilled cheese with sweet blackberries and tangy balsamic glaze, perfect for lunch or a comforting snack.
Ingredients
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh blackberries
- 1–2 tsp balsamic glaze
- 2 tsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Place brie cheese on the unbuttered side of two slices.
- Add fresh blackberries on top of the cheese, slightly smashing them if needed for better spread.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the blackberries.
- Top with the other slices of bread, making sure the buttered side is facing out.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches for about 3–4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Once ready, slice the sandwiches and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve warm with a side of soup or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
