Description
Juicy shrimp marinated in garlic, parsley, and lemon, cooked quickly in the air fryer for a flavorful and effortless meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on or off
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 packed tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 to 2 pinches chili flakes, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to finish
- Black pepper, a few grinds
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Let it sit while the air fryer preheats to 390°F.
- Spread shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not crowd them, or they will steam.
- Air fry for 4 to 6 minutes, shaking once. The shrimp should turn pink and curl slightly; if using jumbo shrimp, add another minute.
- Finish with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Taste and add a pinch of salt if needed.
Notes
Dry the shrimp well to ensure browning. Marinate up to 30 minutes ahead for added flavor.
